Their Love Story

How We Met

Sarah and Michael's love story began during their junior year at UT Austin. They met in a photography class where Sarah was studying art and Michael was pursuing journalism. What started as study sessions in the library quickly turned into long walks around campus and late-night conversations about their dreams. Their shared passion for capturing life's beautiful moments brought them together, and they knew they had found something special in each other.

The Proposal

Five years later, Michael planned the perfect proposal at Zilker Park during the spring bloom. He recreated their first date by bringing a picnic basket and Sarah's favorite wildflowers. As the sun set over the Austin skyline, Michael got down on one knee near the same tree where they had their first kiss. With tears of joy and an enthusiastic "yes," Sarah said she couldn't imagine spending her life with anyone else. It was a moment as beautiful and authentic as their love story.

Q&A with Sarah & Michael

What was your favorite moment of the day?

"Our first look was absolutely magical. We had been apart all morning getting ready, and seeing each other for the first time in our wedding attire was so emotional. Michael actually teared up, which made me cry happy tears too. It was this perfect, intimate moment before all the excitement of the ceremony."

Any advice for future couples?

"Don't stress about the small details that might go wrong. Our cake was delivered an hour late, and honestly, we barely noticed because we were so caught up in celebrating with our loved ones. Focus on what really matters - marrying your best friend and having an amazing party with everyone you care about."

What would you do differently?

"We would have hired a videographer! We have amazing photos from DNPixels, but we wish we had video of our vows and the speeches. Also, we would have done a longer cocktail hour - our guests were having so much fun mingling and we felt like we rushed into dinner."

How did DNPixels capture your day?

"DNPixels was incredible! They made us feel so comfortable and natural. We're not usually great at posing for photos, but they guided us through everything and captured such genuine moments. Looking at our gallery, we can relive every emotion from that day. They truly understood our vision for timeless, romantic photos."
